Terms of Service
Last updated: June 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of The Daily OKR (the “Service”) as operated by us at thedailyokr.com. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you run your own self-hosted instance, these Terms do not apply to that instance — your use is governed by your organisation and the software’s open-source licence.
Accounts & eligibility
Accounts are provisioned by your organisation’s administrator. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must use the Service only as authorised by your organisation and applicable law.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or access data you’re not authorised to.
- Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes others’ rights.
- Do not attempt to de-anonymise, scrape, or reverse-engineer the hosted Service.
Your content
You and your organisation retain all rights to the OKRs, check-ins, and other content you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that content to provide the Service, including sending relevant text to the configured AI provider to generate feedback.
AI output
The Service uses automated models to generate suggestions and feedback. This output is assistive only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and should not be relied on as professional, legal, financial, or performance-management advice. Decisions you make based on it are your responsibility.
Software licence
The Daily OKR is open-source software distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). These Terms govern use of the hosted Service we operate; the AGPL-3.0 governs your rights in the software itself.
Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
Your organisation may suspend or remove your account at any time. We may suspend access where necessary to protect the Service or comply with law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Courts located in Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance, reflected by the “last updated” date above.
